- 12 ounces Fresh Cranberries (washed & inspected)
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
- Zest from 1 Orange
- 1 Cup White Sugar
- 1/2 Tablespoon Fresh Grated Ginger (1 Tb if you really love ginger!)
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
- In 3qt pot over medium heat; combine water, orange juice and sugar. Stir and heat until sugar dissolves and liquid begins to boil..
- Add cranberries, orange zest, ginger and salt.
- Reduce heat to medium/low and lightly boil for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally, more so during the last 10 minutes.
- Refrigerate 6+ hours before serving.
- Yields 2½ Cups
